In 2019 I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and let me tell you I couldn’t have imagined all that was still to come. Since that time two of my children married and guys I had a grandchild!! I traveled to Italy twice! Italy was beautiful, Rome was exciting and full of energy. We visited Naples, Pompeii and Sicily. I got to eat the food and drink the wines and experience the beauty of the old world. And yes I plan on going back as soon as I can.

I ziplined on the lagest zip-line in America equivalent to 28 football fields at 95mph and at more than 380m high. That was on my trip to Puerto Rico. I loved it!!! it was such a spiritual experience, seeing all that God has created from a different point of view.

I could have never imagined all the things that have happened in the past few years. All this to say every day I learn to trust God more and more. Everything has not always been happy moments, I lost loved ones and experienced very difficult situation that my mind could have never imagined, but never once felt alone. These days I dream and hope to continue living this wonderful journey, but now I know that I will always say “ If I knew then what I know now”. Just when you think you know, you realize you DON’T.

So love one another, be kind and help when you can. The rest will take care of itself.

Many get the experience and excitement of travel, but many never stop to think beyond the beauty. I don’t know were you are in your spiritual journey, but as for me, I am a follower of Christ.

Perhaps you will see this post and enjoy the photos and nothing else. For me the places I visited and the beauty I saw was an amazing display of God’s power and love for us.

A Christmas Wedding in one of the coldest days Orlando has experienced in more than 30 years. Originally the wedding was planned to be an outdoor event, but as the news kept predicting plummeting temperatures the decision was made to change the location to an indoors area with just 3 days to spare.

I truly don’t know how they did it,but with the help of their church they not only brought the wedding indoors they successfully decorated and prepared every detail and the wedding was absolutely perfect.

A small intimate wedding surrounded by friends and family on Christmas Eve. They did it. It was perfect and the joy felt through out the place was even greater.

When I moved to Saint Cloud I had moved from Virginia Beach which is a much bigger city. I was surprised at how small downtown Saint Cloud was in comparison to where I had just moved from. It was interesting to me how this little tiny town in central Florida seemed to have not be changed by time.

I didn’t time it, but it felt like I could walk downtown Saint Cloud in about 3 minutes from beginning to end. It was a quaint city with very few people walking about. I visited the shops, had some Ice scream and that was it, my first visit was short and sweet.

As the years have gone by, I’ve visited Downtown multiple times for simple walks or events the city puts together. I have to say this little city has grown on me, I love visiting the antique shops, the frame shop, clothing and restaurants, all have a special uniqueness about them.

These days I make it a special treat for my self to take a morning stroll on the brick roads of Saint Cloud. I stop to breath and enjoy things I don’t get to see anywhere else. The people are welcoming and time seems to pass ever so slowly.

You might even be able to see in one of my images a construction site covered by a red protection fabric. This is the site of an old hotel which is currently undergoing restoration. I’m looking forward to seeing how it all turns out. Hopefully have the opportunity to photograph it and share with you. Until then…

A mother’s heart is full when she knows her daughter is loved!

Easter Sunday was wonderful, it is the most beautiful celebration of the greatest sacrifice and gesture of love. I hope all of you enjoyed the day with family and friends. I have to say this Easter Sunday was extra special to me. As a photographer I’ve gotten the opportunity to photograph many couples journey from engagement to wedding day and beyond. But on Easter Sunday I got to photograph my daughter’s engagement photos. I can’t even begin to describe how blessed I feel to have the opportunity to create these images for my sweet baby girl.

She was my first child, the one that started my journey as a mother, and a gift beyond words. Celebrate with me my baby girls engagement session.

I wish I had the answers on what to leave behind as a legacy but truth be told I don’t. I look at all of the photos I’ve taken of places I’ve gone to and people I’ve met. I look back at all of my family photos and remember all the moments.

I hope that the legacy I leave behind is that of love, one for my children to cherish for years to come. I photograph to leave a piece of us frozen in time. A glimps of a moment forever engraved in our hearts.

I live in a little town in central Florida called Saint Cloud, a place not know by many. Here the summers are intensely hot and the winters are barely cold. It’s a quite little town, but seems to be growing at a very fast pace. We moved here around 5 years ago and I’m still learning about this little town. Our children live in Virginia and California, and as you may suspect my camera follows me there too. I’ve traveled the world and lived in many places, some I’ve loved and some well let’s say they didn’t grow on me. With my photos I’ve kept a piece of all the places I’ve been to and all the people I’ve met.

It’s easy for me to get lost in the rabbit whole of memories each and every time I look at my photos. The journey is the treasure, the moments, the smiles, the tears. It’s all worth capturing.
